Good morning, everyone!
The reopening committee met on Sunday, January 23rd. With the COVID numbers starting to come down, we have set a date of Feb. 27 to restart in-person worship. Streaming will also still be available as we did before.
We will be following the same COVID protocol procedures as before.
- masks
- temperature
- attendance
- social distancing
- etc.
We need volunteers to do the following each week:
-someone to take temperatures at the door
-someone to take attendance (attendance sheet is on a clipboard and you have to check people off or add names & phone numbers for contact tracing)
-someone to operate and clean lift each Sunday
Things to consider:
- If you are feeling ill, please stay home. You may not have COVID-19, but your immune system is already trying to take care of your illness.
- if you have a preexisting condition, the risk of indoor gatherings is higher for you.
- if you have been vaccinated, you are still required to wear a mask
We look forward to worshipping together eventually without the need for precautions and restrictions. Until then, we thank all of you for your continued support of our ministry at First & Wesley United Methodist Church and we look forward to seeing you in person or on-line.
Please contact Helen Smith (203-444-2362) either by calling or texting or at drsmith@snet.net if you can help out.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
The Reopening Committee (Will Arhin, Christine Chan, Peggy Jerrell, Judy Jennette, Sungmu Lee, Mary Rolfe, Helen Smith, Jim Stuhlman)
